Jephthah Bowoto famously referred to and alluded to as Akpororo, is a Nigerian stand-up comic, vocalist, and on-screen character.
He is a native of Ilaje, Ondo State, Nigeria yet he was conceived and experienced childhood in Warri, a city in Delta State, Nigeria where he had his initial education. His vocation began off as a neighborhood gospel artist until in 2008 when he went into the National Comedy Challenge by Opa Williams and proceeded to win the Calabar zone of the challenge.
In 2009, Akpororo moved to Lagos and challenged twice in the AY’s Open Mic Challenge, coming next in his first attempt and winning the challenge in his subsequent attempt. He rose to ubiquity in 2013 after his exhibition at “Basketmouth’s Laff and Jam” appear and proceeded to perform in a few satire show including “AY Live”. On 12 August 2014, he organized his first significant parody show “Akpororo versus Akpororo” at the Shell Hall, MUSON Center. The lady occasion saw the participation of outstanding melodic acts and humorists.
In 2014, Akpororo dove into acting, featuring in the movies Headgone and The Antique; with the previous gaining him three assignments at the 2015 Golden Icons Academy Movie Awards.
His style of parody is essentially the combination of common and church-related jokes. In a meeting, he uncovered that he performs and splits jokes about neurotics since he was at one time a chaperon to rationally sick individuals who went to the congregation he was going to for profound healing.

Yemi Eberechi Alade was born on March 13, 1989 in Abia State, Nigeria. Her father James Alade is of Yorubaorigin while her mother Helen Uzoma is of Igbo origin resulting in her being referred as “Yoruba-Igbo girl”. Alade is the fifth out of the seven children in her family. She attended St Saviour British Primary School, then went on to Victory Grammar School, Lagos, before obtaining a degree in Geography at the University of Lagos.

Work on Davido’s debut studio album, Omo Baba Olowo, began in 2011. On May 7, 2011, Davido produced and released his first musical recording “Back When”. The song served as the album’s lead single and received frequent airplay.The music video for the single, uploaded onto YouTube on May 9, 2011, was shot and directed in Nigeria by Clarence Peters. Davido told Factory 78 TV that he recorded “Back When” in London. Davido co-produced “Dami Duro” with Shizzi and released it on October 30, 2011. The music video for “Dami Duro” was released on January 8, 2012. It was shot and directed in Lagos by Clarence Peters, and was released during the Occupy Nigeria protests. In an interview posted on NotJustOk, Davido spoke on the release and composition of “Dami Duro”. He said he recorded “Dami Duro” in August 2011. Three months later, the song got leaked after he sent it out to some friends. On May 6, 2012, HKN Music released “Overseas” as a single off the album. The unfinished version of the song leaked prior to the official release. On September 28, 2012, HKN Music released the music video for “All of You”. The song was produced by Gospelondabeat. Wizkid was born on 16 July 1990 in Surulere, a residential and commercial area of Lagos. He grew up in an interfaith household with twelve female siblings. His mother is a Pentecostal Christian and his father practices Islam. In a 2012 radio interview with Tim Westwood, he said that his father has three wives. During his upbringing, he listened to songs recorded by King Sunny Ade, Fela Kuti, and Bob Marley. Wizkid started singing at age 11 and went by the stage name Lil Prinz until 2006. On my journey to the film industry, I shot to prominence in 2006, Then MiSS. TONTO DIKEH emerged as the first runner up in the reality TV show “The Next Movie Star” the experience was awesome. My appearance on the show was a means of getting closer to stardom.
@unitytubes : becoming one of the biggest superstars in the entertainment industry. How easy was it for you ?
Remarkably, my acting career began soon after my appearance in the movie “Holy Cross” was quite an audition as i came to the attention of creative producers and directors within the industry. Further, it was my show-stopping performance in “Dirty Secret” that put me firmly in the limelight.
These movie got me mixed reviews as i was berated for my perceived disregard for African culture in some quarters while many wow my outstanding professionalism and unwavering passion for the job and i was so impressed.

We can speak of a person’s honor and we can talk about giving honor to another person. A person’s honor is his integrity. It is the idea of doing what is right in all situations. “Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men” (Romans 12:17).
This hard work with the help of my brothers and sisters on set made the great performance worthy rewarding i earned the award for Best Actress at the Future Awards 2012, and the Exquisite Lady of the Year Awards 2013 which in competition with other top actresses.
@unitytubes : Having become an icon and a reference point in the movie industry, you sojourn into music has predictably turned a few heads and the ever smiling sultry diva has shown and that sounds as beautiful as your looks. Please can you tell us about the musical adventure?
After releasing two singles titled “Hi” and “Itz Ova” amidst controversy and criticism comes up about my vocal ability, as i always known that their should criticism either constructively or destructively, be that as it may, i went on to release “Crazically fit” featuring Terry G, “Ekebe” and “JeJe” and “Sugar Rush” featuring D’banj, all of which enjoyed steady airplay and massive downloads. I received an endorsement of my lyrical content and vocal ability when Pop Legend D’banj unveiled me as an artiste under his record label, DB Records.
Earlier in the year, i decided to give something back to my fans by creating some much needed buzz and attention for my new music video ‘Sugar Rush’. The #sugarrushtonto contest held on social media platform Instagram had a cash prize of $1000. Weeks down the line, the winner has emerged and the organizer and myself awarded the prize money to the lucky winner.

I DO NOT KNOW WHY AND HOW, because only God worthy of such. What i know is, i took part in a charity fashion show alongside Banky W, Omotola Jalade Ekeninde in January 2011 and went on to give out scholarships to exceptional children across countries such as Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone, to be mentioned few and globally.
Another thing that similar to that is The TONTO DIKEH FOUNDATION the platform for lending a helping hand to the less privileged and playing my part in building a better society. Whether i am a character on the screen or a voice in the studio, am just trying to be a class act with a transient appeal that shows no sign of slowing down. TO WHOM MUCH IS GIVEN, MUCH IS EXPECTED.
